Images like these never fail to beckon green-inclined travelers to sample Costa Rica’s pristine natural eco-system. The country that developed its modern tourism industry based on the simple philosophy of “rendering minimal impact on the environment”, and “build a green sanctuary, and they will come” (applies to human and non-human species alike), long before “going green” was considered a lifestyle. As newer Eco Resorts open, raising both the green and luxe bar even higher. Such as the El Silencio Eco Lodge & Spa in Central Valley Mountains.

Elevate Destinations sends travelers to this lodge. One of our employees actually just got back from a trip there a few weeks ago and had an amazing time! I’m so glad you blogged about such an incredible destination.

Yes, and El Silencio is the eco-lodge to watch. Always on the radar of sophisticated travel, constantly being ahead of the “Green Curve”! ciao, dian

I’m surprised Elevate Destinations doesn’t send more travelers to Indonesia. Or may be you do, and I just haven’t been paying attention. Let’s stay connected. BTW, pls check out my other blog http://www.endangerededen.wordpress.com where I mainly talk about Sustainable, Responsible, Philantrophic and Volunteer Tourism. I’ve even blogged about your fine travel co. KUDOS to what you do!!! That’s why I’m suggesting you should do more work in Indonesia. Let’s talk. I could identify a few opportunities there. Ever heard of San Diego-based IHF (International Humanity Foundation) http://www.ihfonline.org? They help support orphans and get street kids off the streets through their 4 centers in Jakarta, Medan & Banda Aceh (Tsunami Victims), and Bali. They do wonderful work! ciao for now, dian
