For the non-surfer, let alone the armchair traveler, names like: Macaroni, Nyang Nyang, G-Land, T-Land, Dreamland, Padang Padang, mean nothing. But to the avid surfer, these are dream surf destinations. A must on their Bucket Lists!

And G-LAND is definitely on that list!

These are just some of the surfing destinations across the world’s largest archipelago, Indonesia. Surf spots are essentially split into two regions, the main islands: Sumatra (Mentawai, Nias, Weh Islands), Java (Southwest and Southeast Coasts), Bali (all over), Lombok, East Lesser Sunda Islands (Sumba, Sumbawa Islands) and Timor (West), while other islands such as Sulawesi (Celebes), Borneo (Kalimantan), West Papua (Irian Jaya), and The Moluccas Islands have little or no surf potential, and are better known as Diving Destinations.

Among these, G-Land is an internationally renowned surf-break situated on the Bay of Grajagan, East Java, about half a day by road from the popular tourist destination of Bali. At present, there are two Surf Camps in operation: Bobby’s Surf Camp, and Djojo Surf Camp.
