Chic & Sleek | Amangiri, Canyon Point, Utah

What’s in a name? Plenty rides on a name! Notably if you’re in the hospitality industry and your name starts with the word “Aman” (Sanskrit for “Peaceful”).
An Aman resort is a name that conjures up a powerful symbolic meaning, that of a beautiful place in a stunning location, with unparalleled views, personalized service befitting royalty, and a stay experience that defies a classification.
Any die-hard Aman fan (the self-professed “Amanjunkies”) will tell you that star-classification is utterly irrelevant in an Aman model. The consistence in creating another stunner, with the opening of a new Aman resort, never fails to raise the bar… each time!
So, it is with great pleasure that I present Aman’s latest gem, its second in the US: Amangiri, in Canyon Point, Utah. The setting is so magnificent, you’d have to get a bird’s eye view to truly appreciate it.
In keeping with Aman’s true tradition, accommodation is kept to a minimum, to ensure the guests’ privacy and serenity. Amangiri features only 34 rooms and suites that range from $600 to $3,000 per night.
Guests have access to a 25,000-square-foot spa that offers hydrotherapy, beauty salon, massage treatments, yoga and fitness center. And if the Spa fails to provide diversions aplenty, there are guided hikes in nearby national parks and monuments, trips to Lake Powell, the Grand Canyaon, hot-air ballooning and horseback riding.
