In North Africa, it’s clear that that Morocco is leading the way of bringing to the market the chicest and hippest boutique hotels. New ones are opening across this country that is blessed with a Mediterranean weather and stunning natural landscape.

From Essaouira to Fez, as well as the perennial favorite, Marrakech. And the roster of globally-acclaimed designers that have made their names in Paris, New York and London, is getting deeper.

Which brings us to one such newbie: Sirayane Boutique Hotel & Spa in Marrakech. Gorgeous and sleek!

With a name that does means nothing less “One of the gates of paradise”, the 5-star Sirayana Boutique Hotel & Spa, combines modern architecture style to the more traditional Moroccan riad. Managing the project, the Algerian architect Imaad Rahmouni is recognized in Paris and Morocco. “My reaction compared to places and people that I see their personality, there must be harmony between the place and the people who live in.” he says.

This was achieved, the Sirayane should open its doors on 1st September 2010. It is a place with some balance, where luxury is synonymous with rest. Among the many services provided by the hotel are included: room service, restaurant, Moroccan cooking classes (by reservation), lounge bar, spa, gym, library, tennis court (for athletes ), and the pool of 29 meters installed along the face of the Atlas Mountains, part of which is heated in winter.
